This is a demo shop. Nothing ships and no payment is taken. These are the terms the assistant answers from — they read like a real shop’s because that is what they are being tested as.
Where we deliver. Anywhere in the United Kingdom, including the Highlands, the Islands and Northern Ireland.
What it costs. £2.95 by Royal Mail second class, free on orders over £25. Seeds are light, and we would rather put the difference into the packet than into the postage.
How long it takes. Orders placed before 2pm on a working day go out the same day. Second class usually means two to three working days. We do not offer a next-day service, because seed is not an emergency and charging you for the pretence that it is would be taking liberties.
Tracking. Orders over £25 go tracked and you will get the number by email. Below that, the cost of tracking would be a meaningful share of the order.
Christmas and the new year. We stop dispatching on 22 December and start again on 2 January. January and February are our busiest weeks by a distance — order early if you want seed in hand before the first sowings.
