How to sow it
Beetroot is among the easiest things here to get right. Each seed is a cluster that produces several seedlings, so thinning is not optional if you want round roots rather than a knot of them.
Pull alternate plants small for salads and let the rest grow on. The thinnings are a crop, not waste.
